What ages are your meals designed for?
Our meals are designed in two simple steps that grow with your baby:
- Step 1 (6–8 months): Smooth purees and soft bite-sized veggies and fruits to gently introduce textures and chewing.
- Step 2 (8–12 months): Nutritious finger foods and balanced meals to encourage independence and self-feeding.
Because every baby develops at their own pace, moms decide when it’s time to move to the next stage.
How will meals be delivered, and how fresh will they stay?
You can pick up meals in Weston (Monday–Thursday evenings) or have them delivered within a 10-mile radius of South Post Rd. & Weston Rd. for a small fee. Meals arrive fresh, can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks, and are perfectly portioned—2 oz. for Step 1 and 4 oz. for Step 2. Just heat and serve!
How do I know the meals are safe and nutritious for my baby?
Every recipe is developed with pediatric guidance, using only fresh, natural ingredients. We follow strict safety standards and prepare each dish with the same care and love we’d use for our own family. You can trust that every bite supports your baby’s health and growth.
What makes My First Catering different from making food at home?
We save you hours of shopping, prepping, and cooking—without sacrificing the love or nutrition. Unlike store-bought jars, our meals are freshly prepared, never mass-produced, and designed to give your baby the same care you’d put into homemade food. Are your meals organic, allergen-aware, and preservative-free?
Yes! We prioritize organic ingredients, source locally whenever possible, and never use preservatives or additives. We also clearly label ingredients to help you avoid allergens and give your baby only what’s safe, fresh, and wholesome.
How do your meals support my baby’s development?
Every meal is designed with more than nutrition in mind. Step 1 introduces gentle textures that build chewing and motor skills. Step 2 adds colorful, shaped finger foods that support fine motor coordination, palate expansion, and the joy of eating independently.
What does it cost, and are there subscription options?
We’re finalizing pricing, but rest assured our plans will be affordable and flexible to fit different family needs. Subscription options will make it easy for you to have meals delivered weekly without extra planning.
Can I customize the menu if my baby doesn’t like certain foods?
Absolutely! We know every baby is unique. While we offer set weekly menus, you can let us know your baby’s dislikes or preferences in advance, and we’ll do our best to adjust. Our goal is to help little ones eat better—and enjoy it too!
